VISIT OUR WORKROOM
We welcome clients into our Cambridge workroom throughout the build process. You can see progress firsthand, refine details with our team, and ensure everything feels exactly right before installation.
PRECISION BUILD
Our experienced craftsmen build every kitchen in our Cambridge workroom to exact specifications. Every join, panel, and cabinet is carefully crafted to the millimetre - because that’s what makes the difference between a good kitchen and a great one.
DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION
We manage the full logistics. Base units are typically installed within the first few days, followed by benchtop templating and final installation shortly after.
FINAL SIGN-OFF
We don’t consider the job done until you are 100% satisfied. Our final walkthrough ensures every detail meets the standard of craftsmanship we’ve built our reputation on for more than 60 years.

How much does a new kitchen cost in New Zealand?
Kitchen costs in New Zealand vary significantly depending on the size of the kitchen, the materials chosen, and the level of finish. As a general guide, smaller kitchens start from around $10,000, medium-sized kitchens are typically around $25,000, and larger or high-specification kitchens range from $50,000 upwards. Treetown Kitchens provides free, no-obligation quotes - if you have a budget in mind, we can work with you to find the right design and materials to suit it.
How long does a kitchen renovation take in New Zealand?
Treetown Kitchen’s custom kitchen typically takes a minimum of 2-4 weeks to build in our Cambridge workroom, depending on size and complexity. Once on site, base units are generally installed within the first two to three days to allow benchtops to be measured and patterned, with final benchtop installation and kitchen completion following within a further two to three weeks. Total timelines can vary depending on other trades involved in your project. Treetown will always communicate clearly if anything affects your schedule.
Does your workmanship have any warranty?
All our joinery comes with a 5-year workmanship guarantee. All hardware comes with at least a 10-year guarantee; it varies between each hardware manufacturer.
Does my kitchen come with delivery and installation?
We include delivery and installation in our jobs; if you feel that you would like this removed, we can most certainly do that.
Do you offer free consultations?
Consultations, designs and quotes are all no obligations and are free.
Are appliances included in your pricing?
No, however, we can arrange fantastic details with some of our local partners. They provide commercial rates you don’t get when you walk into their stores. You will deal with them directly, so there is no extra charge and you benefit from significant cost savings.

What is the payment structure for a kitchen build?
Treetown Kitchens uses a three-stage payment structure. A 50% deposit is required when a quote is accepted, a further 40% is due once the kitchen is built and ready for delivery, and the final 10% is payable upon completion of installation once you are completely happy with the result.
